With so many initiatives we are a part of, here are a few highlights of our proud journey over the past two years:
PowerMyLearning of Greater Atlanta
Six Consulting supported The RISE Schools together with PowerMyLearning, an education nonprofit that strengthens the learning relationships between students, teachers, and families so every student succeeds. The RISE Schools works towards educating underserved youth in East Point, GA. Together with PowerMyLearning, Six Consulting committed to providing free laptops and training to participating RISE Schools students and families. The PowerMyLearning team aims to help students in low-income communities, together with their teachers and families, harness the power of digital learning to improve educational outcomes and inspire a passion for STEM. To date, PowerMyLearning in Greater Atlanta has served more than 27 Title 1 schools and 21,800 students, delivering a range of programs and services that increase family involvement, support educators with personalized learning, and address the challenges of STEM integration.
Shine On Project
Six Consulting has also declared their support for The Shine On project, led by Dr. Jaime Modiano at the University of Minnesota College of Veterinary Medicine, which is designed to detect hemangiosarcoma cells in the blood at their earliest onset, and guide treatment with a new, targeted drug. This drug, called eBAT, was developed at the University of Minnesota with the goal to kill cells that are responsible for tumor formation, therefore arresting cancers before they start. This is the first-ever rationally designed approach to prevent cancer in dogs.
Support minority suppliers
As always, giving back to the community and supporting local Minority Business Enterprises (MBEs) has been at the forefront of our initiatives. This year we had set a goal to increase our spend with minority-owned businesses and we are proud to report that we have achieved our maximum spend targets with Minority-Owned Businesses and consultants. We are heartened by the success so far and intend to continue growing this further.
The challenges of COVID-19 overshadowed the news in the global community. At Six Consulting, we continued to support the community in every way we could during this difficult year. It was a year full of accolades and community team spirit that has strengthened the bonds of our local community.
Georgia Minority Supplier Development Council (GMSDC)
The Annual GMSDC Business Opportunity Week 2020 was a virtual event this year and Six Consulting was proud to be a part of the special feature by the Atlanta Business Chronicle to support Georgia’s minority-owned businesses achieve success and growth and promote supplier diversity. In their article, ‘Two companies, one mentoring match’, Atlanta Business Chronicle profiled Six Consulting’s mentorship journey with the global packaging giant WestRock as part of the Georgia Mentor Protégé Connection program that is overseen by the GMSDC. Parth Patel, Chief Executive Officer, and Sam Yehya, Chief Operating Officer discussed the opportunities and learnings over the year-long program. “It’s almost like a compressed MBA program for small businesses,” says Parth Patel. With a focus on three mentorship areas- process improvement, client development, and sales, the team at Six Consulting was able to streamline their processes and reengage their client base with their newly refined processes. “Just like any sports team, organization or business, who gets matched up with who really matters,” said Sam Yehya.
Timmy Awards
Created by Tech in Motion, an international event series with a mission to bring local tech communities together to meet, learn, and innovate. The Timmy Awards aim to celebrate regional tech communities and the companies and individuals leading the way to create the best places for tech professionals to work. Six Consulting is proud to announce that they have been selected as winners in the annual Timmy Awards 2020 in the category Best Tech Workplace for Diversity. At the virtual ceremony held on October 25th, this category recognizes companies who are determined to build and sustain an inclusive culture from the top-down, encouraging employees to bring their authentic selves to work every day.

“As a Salesforce Silver Partner, Six Consulting is on track to become one of the leading providers of Salesforce solutions to enhance productivity and boost customer engagement,” says CEO Parth Patel.
Inspiredu Atlanta and Six Consulting E-Recycling Drive
Six Consulting partnered with Inspiredu Atlanta to help support students who were struggling with the technical gap when education switched to virtual during the pandemic. Together with the awesome team at Inspiredu Atlanta and the local community, Six Consulting conducted a drive through electronics recycling drive.
